Age 32, of Hastings, Michigan formerly of Lowell, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1983 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Lowell High School in 2001. Aaron loved his family and friends but was happiest in the presence of his son Silas. They were inseparable. He was a phenomenal father and will be most remembered by his loved ones for his kind heart and beautiful soul. He was a speed skater during his teenage years. He loved the outdoors and the country.
Aaron is survived by his father James (Chris) VanderPols, mother Brenda (Jerry Hurless) Rawson, son Silas VanderPols, Silas's mother Amy VanderPols, sister Chelsea VanderPols, brother Adam VanderPols, stepsisters Chelsey (Parker) Lui, Amanda (Kevin) Davis, stepbrothers Chase Treglia and Austin Hurless, grandmothers Anna VanderPols and Sue Rawson many aunts, uncles and cousins.
