Adelaide Regina Collins

Adelaide Regina Collins of Hastings, died April 25, 2019 in Hastings, Michigan at age 99. She was born on July 8, 1919 in Harvard, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph Waldo and Wilma Florence (Thornley) Hager. She studied Lab Technology in Kirksville, Missouri, where she met Walter L. Collins, DO. They were married on November 1, 1940. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine Ohio. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and playing bridge. She was talented at knitting, crocheting, and sewing and loved making things for her family. She took pride in caring for her family and home including her flower gardens.

Adelaide was preceded in death by her husband, of 49 years, Walter, and daughter Virginia Lee Collins. She is survived by daughters Judy (Doug)  Bonnell of Columbus, Indiana, Mickey (Dave) Angle of Hastings, Michigan, grandchildren Shelly (Jon) Hart of Hastings, Michigan, Amy (Ben) Jackson of Columbus, Indiana, Patrick (Tara) Angle of Columbus, Indiana, Jay (Haley) Bonnell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jarrod (Megan) Collins of Marysville, Ohio, and 18 great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Services provided by Girrbach Funeral Home, Hastings, Michigan.
