Anthony "Tony" Binkowski

Anthony Binkowski, age 78, of Hastings, MI passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 at Carveth Village Assisted Living in Middleville, MI surrounded by family.  Anthony was born in Charlotte, MI to Martin and Anna Binkowski on January 27, 1944.  Anthony grew up in Charlotte, MI and graduated from Charlotte High School.  Anthony enjoyed farming until moving to Lake Odessa, MI in the mid-1970s. Anthony worked at E.W. Bliss in Hastings for many years, D & S Machine Repair in Hastings and ultimately retired from Pridgeon & Clay in Grand Rapids, MI in 2009.  Anthony married Nora Webster on June 22, 1989.  They enjoyed 29 years of marriage.  Anthony enjoyed hunting and "tinkering" in his barn.

Anthony is survived by his sons Randall (Tami) Binkowski of Byron Center, MI and Scott (Karmen) Binkowski of Woodland, MI; five grandsons Lucas (Meghan) Binkowski, Ethan Binkowski, Tyler Binkowski, Alex Binkowski and Ryan Binkowski. Anthony is also survived by his brother Chester (Fay) Binkowski and sisters-in-law Katie (Jerome) Rosenthal and Sally (Gary) Hammond.  Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Nora; brothers Paul, Harold "Russ," Carl and Tom; and sisters Betty, Irene and Shirley.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Rutland Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.  Services provided by Girrbach Funeral Home, to leave an online condolence visit www.girrbachfuneralhome.net .
