Barbara Jean Dennison

Barbara Jean Dennison, age 85 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord, surrounded by family, on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI.

She was born on May 2, 1933 in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Jessie and Lucille (Baker) Warrick.  Barb was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.  She attended the First Baptist Church in Hastings and was a member of the choir for many years.  Barb worked at Hastings Mutual Insurance Company for 22 years.   Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, dearly loved her.  She prayed for her family and friends with unending commitment and love for their spiritual and physical well-being.  Barb will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and generosity.

She is survived by two sons, Greg (Sheryl) Dennison of Ionia, MI, Britt (Luella) Dennison of Alto, MI, six grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Newcomb, Nicholas (Hannan) Dennison, Christopher Dennison, Brandon (Julie) Dennison, Joel (Amy) Dennison, Luke Dennison, 15 great-grandchildren, brother, Ronald (Martha) Warrick of Marion, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held December 19, 2018 at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Rd., SE, Ada, MI from 10 -11 am.  Funeral services will follow Visitation at 11:00 am.  A luncheon will be provided following the funeral service.  Interment will take place at Barryville Cemetery in Castleton Township.
