Barbara A. Gallup

Barbara A. Gallup, age 76 of Hastings passed away February 16, 2011 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings. She was born in Hastings, MI, September 15, 1934, the daughter of Floyd and May (Carpenter) Gallup. Barbara attended Hastings schools, receiving her GED in 1978. She was employed at the Provincial House Nursing Home for many years working as a nurses aid and in housekeeping. Barbara enjoyed researching information for the family tree on her computer as well as knitting, crocheting and doing crafts. She was a religious woman, having affiliations with local churches. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son, Enrique Gallup, sisters; Rhea Gardner and Delores Skappel. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews; Steve Gardner, Jimmy Gardner, Rick Gardner, Dave Taggart, Doug Taggart, Dan Taggart and Pat Brauer, as well as many great nieces and nephews. \r
Respecting Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held. \r
The family would like to give special thanks to Pennock Hospital for taking such good care of Barbara while she was there.\r
