Barbara June Rutledge

Barbara June Rutledge, age 91, passed away on May 17, 2023, in Hastings, Michigan.

Barbara was born in Pekin, Illinois on January 2, 1932, the daughter of Noble Sackett and Edith Harrison.  She attended Battle Creek Academy and was a 1950 graduate of Hastings High School.  Barbara was a nurse's aide for 32 years with Dr. Pryor in Hastings, Michigan.  She was married to Jack Roush for 40 years, and later married Jim Rutledge.

Barbara loved traveling after she retired.  She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church her whole life.  She loved her cats!

Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands Jack Roush and Jim Rutledge, her parents, and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Debra (Allen) Newhouse, grandchild Alleia (Seth) Schuyler, great-grandchild Selah, and her sister Kathy Sackett.
