Beatrice A. Rogers
Age 96 of Byron Center passed away March 21, 2017 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Beatrice was born at home in Maple Grove Township on March 24, 1920 the daughter of Cyrus R. and Winnie D. (Norris) Buxton. On October 9, 1940, she married Maurice J. Rogers.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years Maurice J. Rogers, son-in-law James M. Rhodes and grandson Joshua J. Rogers.
She is survived by her daughters Noralee Rhodes of Hastings, Michigan, Ann (Tim) Dempsey of Bitely, Michigan, son Daryl (Sally) Rogers of Byron Center, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Girrbach Funeral Home 328 S. Broadway Street, Hastings, Michigan 49058, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
