Benny Ralph Eye

Benny Ralph Eye, known as Ben to his friends and family, passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 80. Ben was born on May 29, 1944, in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Ralph Eye and Marion Gabler.

Ben was a graduate of Hastings Area Schools. After graduation, he embarked on a career at General Motors in Lansing, where he dedicated many years of service until his retirement

Ben had a knack for tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for hunting and fishing. Motorcycles were another of Ben's great loves. When he wasn't on his bike, Ben enjoyed hanging out with his buddies at Richie's.

Ben was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Gabler, father, Ralph Eye, brothers Barry Eye and Brad Eye, his son Stanley Ralph Eye, and his wife, Sandra Eye.

His is survived by his children Christina (Timothy) Tremain, Stacey Helm, Melissa (Michael) Neff, Buckley (Ravin) Eye, and Bion (Vicki) Eye, plus 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
