Betty Josephine Ainsworth

Betty Josephine Ainsworth, age 63 of Hastings, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2023, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.

Betty was born on March 26, 1960, the daughter of Robert and Sharon (Vickers) Kitchen. She married Jim Ainsworth on August 19, 1994, and they enjoyed 28 years together.

Betty was a homemaker, taking care of her family and home with unending love! She was an amazing cook, loved working outdoors, squirrel hunting, loved wild game and music of all genres.

If you ever met Betty, you would immediately know how special and compassionate she was. Her beautiful smile, her long red hair, her heart of gold, and love for others cannot be matched. Now her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has her in His loving care.

Betty was preceded in death by her father Robert Kitchen, mother and stepfather Sharon and Frank Winans, and daughter Kristina Camphouse.

She is survived by her husband Jim Ainsworth of Hastings, Michigan, children Jamie Nichols, Scott (Beckie) VandenBerg, Sanya VandenBerg, Ashlei (Toby) VanBuskirk, Carl (Alexa) Ainsworth, 21 grandchildren, siblings John, Joanne, Mary Beth, Teresa, Chuck, Nichole, Lori, Steven, and Brenda.
