Betty was born July 24, 1978 in Hastings, MI. She attended Delton Schools. Betty worked for Hastings Manufacturing for a short period of time.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her girls. They would watch butterflies, movies and occassionally went fishing. Her Favorite singer was Loretta Lynn. She also liked listening to John Anderson (Wild and Blue), & (Your lying blue eyes), both of which she loved to hear her dad (Dee Hoffman Jr.)sing.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Lorna Smith, uncle, Fred R. Smith (P-nut), brother, Charles F. Hoffman, uncles, Chuck Hoffman, and Dave Morgan.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Cassie Smith and Lacie Smith of Hastings, sisters, Casey Duvall of Nebraska, Heather Hoffman of Delton, brother Dee (Dana) Hoffman, mother, Louann Smith, friend, Scott Smith, friend, Thomas Pursley, and many nieces and nephews.
