Betty Jean Verlin

Betty Jean Verlin passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 90. Betty was born January 5, 1935, in Caledonia Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan, the daughter of Jerome and Ethel (Ferris) Brothers

Betty married Joseph Verlin on November 11, 2006. A woman of many passions, she found joy in knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and canning. She loved cruises, collecting Budweiser mugs and unicorns, and was known for her green thumb and her delicious cooking. She also had a deep love for horses and traveling. Betty was a proud member of the American Legion in Caledonia, Michigan.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Verlin; her children, Norman Bosco II, Tina (Jeffrey) Tolliver, Lori Bosco, Gary Bosco, and Betty Jo (John) Webb; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Per Betty's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home.
