Bruce Alan Sherman

Bruce Alan Sherman, age 62, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on May 4, 2022. Bruce was born on December 26, 1959, the son of Richard and Bonnie (Vorheis) Sherman.

Bruce was a 1978 graduate of Hastings High School where he played football and was in the band and orchestra. Bruce was also an Eagle Scout. On December 7, 1997, Bruce married Kelly Eileen Vonasek. Bruce worked as an over the road driver. Working on farms was a passion for 45 years. He enjoyed reading and cutting wood. He loved his dogs and was a great dog dad to seven rescues (1 survives).

Bruce was preceded in death by his grandparents Nathan and Vida Sherman, Fay and Viola Voorheis, and his parents Richard C. and Bonnie Joyce (Voorheis) Sherman.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Sherman, daughter Brandi Kelley, siblings Sylvia (Tony) Kidder of Hastings, MI, Karen (Mark) Towner of Grand Rapids, MI, and Joyce (Will) Dunne of Chicago, IL, and many nieces and nephews.
