Carl Wayne Forsythe

Carl Wayne Forsythe, age 57, of Middleville, Michigan, passed away on April 29, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1968, in Hastings, the son of Carol William and Judith Kay (Wierenga) Forsythe.

Carl graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School with the Class of 1986. He was a hardworking and talented self-employed construction contractor, known for his skill in roofing, doors, siding, and barn construction. Carl took pride in building with his hands and helping others through his work.

Outside of work, Carl had a passion for stock car racing and enjoyed building race cars. He loved to watch his boys race their cars and was proud to cheer them on. He also enjoyed spending time in his shop, as well as hunting, fishing, camping, and searching for mushrooms. He found peace and happiness in nature and in the hobbies he loved.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister-in-law, Elke Forsythe.

He is survived by his sons, Carlind Forsythe and Cody Forsythe; his brothers, Charles Forsythe and Chris Forsythe; his step-sister, Linda Wood; and three nieces. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of family, and adventurous spirit.
