Carol Joyce Clark

Carol Joyce Clark, age 79, passed away on September 9, 2025, at home in Hastings.

Carol was born May 7, 1946 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, the daughter of Francis Marion Stam and Helen Marie (Roberts) Stam. She returned to Hastings at the age of four, and she graduated from Hastings High School in 1964.

On October 11, 1997, she married Floyd Clark, with almost 28 years together. She was a homemaker.  She liked being on the computer, playing games and enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family, reading and loved her cat (Hannah).

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Fillingham and Roger Mendendorp, and a number of other family members.

She is survived by her husband Floyd (Toad), son Christopher, step-son Billy Clark, granddaughter Katie, sisters Kay Sines and Eva Richards, sisters-in law Pat Fillingham, Evelyn Ulrich, Sandra Miller, Lois Holiman, and brother-in-law Leon Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be very sadly missed by her lunch group and everyone that knew her.

A Memorial Luncheon will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 2-4 PM at the Woodland Eagles Lodge, 125 N Main St, Woodland, MI 48897. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home. To leave an online condolence visit www.girrbachfuneralhome.net.
