Carol Frances Hinckley

Carol Frances Hinckley, age 49 of Hastings, passed away September 18, 2010 at her home with family, after a courageous battle with cancer.\r
She was born July 12, 1961 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of Ellsworth John and Judith Carol (Riley) Strouse. Carol attended and graduated from Hastings High School in 1979. She worked at Kentwood packaging company.\r
Carol married William Hinckley on July 28, 1979. Their marriage later ended in divorce. \r
Carol was very active in the children's school, she really enjoyed helping out in their classrooms. She was loved by all that knew her.\r
She was preceded in death by her father, Ellsworth John (Tiny) Strouse. Carol is survived by her son, Dennis (Angie) Hinckley of Hastings, Daughters; Heather (Willy Fox) Hinckley of Hastings, Tascha (Jake Brady) Hinckley of Freeport, Grandchildren; Kodey, Shianne, Ryan, Jonathon and Jordan Hinckley of Hastings, Akwa and Breanna Brady of Freeport, mother, Judy Strouse of Hastings, sister, Debra Strouse of Hastings, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.\r
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family. \r
Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home. \r
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2010, 2:00pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Currie will be officiating the service.\r
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. \r
Arrangements are by the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. \r
