Carol Jean Woods
Age 75 of Hastings, passed away on June 22, 2016 at Thornapple Manor. She was born on April 13, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Leonard and Carolyn (Ode) Forbes. She was a member of the American Legion post 381 in Croton, Michigan. Carol loved musicals, and collected dolls, carousels and music boxes. While living in Phoenix, Arizona she had many friends and enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to California, Mexico, and Vegas. One of her favorite places was the Superstition Mountains in Arizona.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard, Duane, and Jimmy Forbes. She is survived by daughters Sandra Ohman, Jessica (Michael) Stocks, and Jill Oglesby, sisters Donna (George) Pleso, Lyn (Dale) Suave, grandchildren Christopher Hathaway, Sean Ohman, Lindey Ohman, and Christina Callendar, and great grandchild Alexis Bayer.
