Carolyn Barbee Allen

Carolyn Barbee Allen (Sissy), age 60, of New Cumberland, PA and formerly of Michigan, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She worked for the VA Hospital in Battle Creek, in human resources, promoted to Topeka, Kansas, and then promoted to New Cumberland, PA, where she retired as Executive Administrative Assistant from the Defense Logistics Agency.
After retirement Carolyn mastered the craft of Tatting, and began her own business of Tatted Sentiments. Her hobbies were spoiling her grand babies, loving her dog Cooper and spending time in Florida with her parents.
She was born July 7, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI and is survived by her parents, Richard A. and Juanita L. DeBolt, also surviving are two daughters, Jenna Allen and Courtney Plank, both of New Cumberland, PA, two granddaughters, Sophia and Lillian Plank, a sister, Deborah (Stewart) Price of Battle Creek, MI a brother, Wally Barbee, of Hastings, three step-brothers, Mark (Julie) DeBolt, and Matt (Patty) DeBolt of Hastings and Mike (Angie) DeBolt of Saline, MI, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, two aunts, Sandra Kuhn of San Antonio, TX and Wanda Lavender of Leesburg, FL.
There will be a Graveside Service at Cedar Creek Cemetery, 9701 Cedar Creek Rd., Delton, MI at 11:00 am on October 20, 2018. A Luncheon will follow the service at the Holiday Inn, 1099 West M43 Highway, Hastings, MI.
