Charles Richard Bradfield

Charles Richard Bradfield, age 90 of Hastings, passed away at his residence October 19, 2016.

Charles was born on February 22, 1926 in Elmira, Michigan, the son of Frank E. and Valia (Brown) Bradfield. He attended school in Boyne Falls, Michigan.

Charles worked for Bradford White Corporation in Middleville, until his retirement. He volunteered at the COA in Hastings and Ionia. Charles attended the Peace United Methodist Church in Nasville. He enjoyed wood working and puzzles, putting them together and framing them.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Valia Bradfield, four brothers, Arlie, Albert, Robert and Frank, sister, Ilah Englerth, wife, JoAnn and wife, Darlene.

He is survived by his son, Max Bradfield of Kalamazoo, daughters, Sandra Lee Bradfield of Hastings and Linda M. (Blake) Landon of Ionia, grandchildren: Angela, Kristina, April, Max C., Michael (Georgia), many great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Jane Bradfield and Jeannie Cembrowicz.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Peace United Methodist Church, 6043 E. M-79 Hwy., Nashville, MI 49073.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Commission on Aging (Hastings or Ionia) or Peace United Methodist Church in Nashville.
