Charles Stewart Reigler Jr.
June 24, 1947 — December 14, 2016
Charles Stewart Reigler, Jr., 69 of Hastings, Michigan passed away, due to liver cancer at home surrounded by his family on December 14, 2016.
Charlie is survived by his brothers, Gary Reigler of Grand Ledge and Owen Reigler of Middleville, his son, Charles (Chuck) Reigler III of Hastings, daughters, Jodi Hale of Dumfries, VA, Melissa Gentner of Bozeman, MT, stepsons, Richard and Boyd Tobias of Hastings, nine grandsons, three granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Charlie was a disabled Vietnam Veteran, having honorably served his country from October 1966 to October 1968. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering (engineering improvements). Reloading his own ammunition had become one of his biggest passions.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hastings Assembly of God 1674 W. State Street, Hastings, MI 49058.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Heartland Hospice for the care they provided.
