Cheryl Jo Merrill (Root) passed away on February 15th, 2017 in Sun City, Arizona.
She is survived by her three children Stevi Barnett (Andrew), Cyowa Merrill, and Ezori Merrill; and her two granddaughters Keiryn Merrill and Ari Barnett.
CJ was a gentle soul with a fierce love for her children, her family and her friends. She was an activist at heart and always fought for what was right. She touched so many lives in her short time on this Earth and will be greatly missed.
A memorial open house will be held at Girrbach Funeral Home on Sunday, March 19th from 1-3pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greenpeace at www.greenpeace.org.
