Corey Lynn Kingsbury age 52 of Hastings, passed away Thursday April 3, 2014 at her residence.
She was born May 12, 1961 in Allegan, Michigan, the daughter of John L. and Mary L. (Hathaway) Billings. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1980.
Corey worked at various Nursing Homes as a cook, retiring due to health reasons.
Corey married John Kingsbury on August 26, 1995. In her younger years, Corey and John enjoyed motorcyle riding. Corey's interests included knitting, watching NASCAR and nature, especially watching the birds. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John (June 16, 2013), mother, Mary Billings, brothers: Delber and Donald Billings and her grandparents.
Corey is survived by her children: Zane Kingsbury of Holland, MI, Teah Verslays of Nashville, MI, one grandson, Johnathan Versluys, father, John Billings of Louisianna, brothers: John (Virginia) Billings of Hastings, and Randy (Cheryl) Billings of Dowling, sister, Karla Richards of Hastings and serveral nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
