Dale Leroy Kidder

Dale LeRoy Kidder, 59, born January 10, 1966, in Hastings, Michigan, passed away April 11, 2025, at home surrounded by family, due to complications sustained following a Motor Vehicle Accident

Dale was the Son of Leonard & JoAnn (Elliott) Kidder. He attended Thornapple Kellogg Schools. Dale was a lifelong carpenter.

Dale was raised in Freeport, Michigan. He would light up a room when he walked in. Dale had many friends.  He was willing to lend  a hand when someone in need.

Dale had a passion for fishing, whether it was on the water or Ice. He loved woodworking. He had an idea for everything. Dale loved to cook. He could make a meal out of anything, . He loved morel mushroom hunting.  He loved spending time with family. The more family he was around the happier he was. He would sit for hours playing Euchre, listening to his old time rock and roll.

Dale is proceeded in death by his Father Leonard Kidder, Brother Eddy Kidder, Great Niece Arlo Jade Clouse, & Brother in law Jeffrey Tyrrell.

Dale is survived by his mother JoAnn Kidder of Freeport, son Brandon Kidder, of Arizona, Stepson Austin Kidder, of Charlotte, MI. Daughters Maya Kidder of Caledonia, MI, & Julianne (John) Ypma of Arizona. Brothers Larry (Carol) Kidder of Hasting, MI, Phillip (Betty) Kidder of Hastings, MI, Morris Kidder of Hastings, MI, Sisters Marcia Tyrrell of Wayland, MI & Minnie (John) Anderson of Greenville, MI. Special Friend Melanie Wyma of Caledonia, MI, Many nieces & nephews

Respecting his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a future date.
