Daniel Harris Everett

Daniel Harris Everett, age 80 of Middleville, Michigan passed away July 19, 2014 at White Pine Rehabilitation Care in Howell, Michigan.
Dan was born on June 7, 1934. He was the son of Faye and Marguerite (Patten) Staup. Dan graduated from Hastings High School in 1952. He went on to attend Ferris State College, Grand Rapids Bible Music School and the Boys Executive School.
Dan had a strong interest in Christian Ministry. He enjoyed gospel music. Dan was very active in Youth For Christ, and was chaplain for the Barry County Jail.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Marguerite and Faye Staup.
Dan is survived by his wife, Gladys (Schuh) Everett, two daughters: Laura Gaunnac of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Melvin of Berea, KY, his sister, Melody (Dennis) Sharp and his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 904 Terry Lane, Hastings, MI.
