Diane Lois Chaffee

Diane attended Thornapple Kellogg High School, graduating in 1977. She married her solemate, Mike Chaffee on March 7, 1981. Diane worked as a CSR Technician at Pennock Hospital.

She was an avid reader, especially the Harry Potter series. Diane loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and watching her grandchildren in their sporting events. Diane enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Slater and son, Michael Clarence Richard Chaffee.

Diane is survived by her husband, Michael C. Chaffee; daughters: Mackenzie (Adam) Pierce and Meagan (Houston) Malone; four grandchildren: Hailey, Hunter, Emma and Shelby; mother Lois Slater; sisters: Deborah (Dave) Sherman and Brenda Slater; brother: Richard J. (Tonya) Slater III; brother and sister-in-laws: Gordon and Sue Wilkins; Bruce and Terry Newton; Jerry and Cindy Chaffee and many nieces and nephews.
