Diane Barbara Jackson

Diane Barbara Jackson left this earthly life on November 7, 2016 to be with her savior Jesus Christ in heaven at the age of 57. Diane's loving family was with her at her passing.

Diane was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 16, 1959, the daughter of Donald Hiram Jackson and Barbara Elaine Waldron. She attended Sexton High School, graduating in 1977.

Diane was a home daycare provider for 18 years in Lansing until her illness forced her to retire. Diane had a special love for children. She was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God, where she taught children's bible studies.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jackson and William Gross. Left to cherish her memory are, sons; Chad (Kelli) Corey, Shane Corey, daughters, Leah and Carli Reid, mother, Barbara Gross, sister, Karen, brothers, Daniel, David, and Paul, step-mom, Carol Jackson, and five precious grandchildren; Eli, Amelya, Reagen, Emlynn, Bebhinn.

Diane will always be remembered as a loving mother, a Christian who lived her life for Jesus, her positive attitude, her jokes, her laugh and her special homemade gifts she gave away. Diane had a kind and caring heart... she loved people and was a special friend to many.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30am on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Maranatha Assembly of God Church 927 E. North Street, Lansing, Michigan 48906. The family will receive guests one our prior to the service at 10:30am. Following the service Diane will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan.
