Dolores J. Sheridan

Dolores J. Sheridan, age 76 of Hastings, died Tuesday March 6, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born February 21, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Dewey and Eva (Beaudry) Salter. Dolores moved to Hastings in 1952, she worked for Hastings Manufacturing Co. from 1963 until her retirement in 1993. Dolores was married to William J. Sheridan August 20, 1949, he preceded her in death on May 21, 1993, she was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Clarence and Gerald Salter, 2 sisters, Dora Wybo and Lucille Klinger. Dolores enjoyed reading, watching the birds and deer and doing volunteer work at the American Legion and VFW. She is survived by her children, Michael (Mikki) Sheridan of Columbus , Indiana, Thomas Sheridan of Hastings, Stanton Sheridan of Racine, WI., Susan Smith of Hastings, Karen (Raymond) Yanus of Houston, TX., 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Robert Salter, in-laws, Jane Sheridan, Al & Sally Salona, Linda Salter and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held Saturday March 24, 2007 at 11:00am, at The Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings, Rev. Kenneth R. Vaught officiating. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
