Donald Ray Barnes

Donald Ray Barnes age 68 of Gun Lake, Wayland, died on Monday February 9, 2009 at his residence.\r

He was born February 16, 1940 in Lansing , Michigan the son of Raymond and Irene (McDonald) Barnes. \r

Don retired from General Motors Plant #3 in Lansing in September 1995 and moved to his Gun Lake Home.\r

He married Geraldine K. Clark on August 6, 1964. \r

He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Delton V.F.W.\r

He was preceded in death by his parents, an Aunt Vivian Hinchey and an Uncle Irwin Hinchey.\r

Don is survived by his wife Geraldine Barnes of Gun Lake, his children Deborah Miner of Lansing, Floyd (Smokey) Morse (Sheri) of Lansing, Scott Morse (Sheila)of Avondale Az. , Judy Kline (Jerry),of Plainwell, 8 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,a sister Norma Pulice (Bob), several loving nieces and nephews. \r

Friends can meet with the family one hour prior to service time. Memorial services will be held Monday February 16, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.\r
