Donald Harley Harshman age 70 of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 25, 2013 at his residence.
Don was born in Laporte, Indiana on June 6, 1943 the son of Lebert W. and Anna Alice (Wilbur) Harshman. He drove truck for most of his working career, until retirement. Don married Sylvia Wiman on May 31, 1965. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lebert and Anna Harshman, wife, Sylvia W. Harshman, daughters: Sherri Kelsey and Rebecca Nink, infant grandson, Douglas Endsley and brother, Frank Harshman.
Don is survived by his children: Jerry (Christine) Harshman, David (Joyce) Harshman, Donny (Linda) Harshman, Ed Laymance, David (Gloria) Lamance, Henry Laymance, Michael Laymance and Lois (Steve) Miller; brothers: Jim (Paula) Harshman, Larry (Faye) Harshman, Jack (Pam) Harshman, Danny (Linda) Harshman, sister, Deana Syegall and many nieces, nephew, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Respecting Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
