Donna Jean Allerding, age 63 of Hastings passed away December 5, 2014 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.
Donna was born on October 23, 1951 in Hastings, Michigan, the daughter of Ivan Denver and Evelyn Jean (Montaque) Allerding. She attended Hastings High School, graduating in 1996.
Donna worked at Terry's Tick Tock in 1998 and Tender Care Nursing Home in Hastings from 2001 to 2007. Donna enjoyed having picnics, going to the beach, watching fireworks on the 4th of July and going to the Casino's. She also enjoyed wildlife and loved feeding the birds and deer. Donna liked to color in coloring books and doing paint by number paintings.
Donna is survived by two son's: Loren Patch Jr. (Heather Martin) of
Hastings, Steven (Beverly) Curtis of Jacksonville, AL, 5 grandchildren: Zachary Curtis, Susan Livingston, Courtney Johnson, Sheena Johnson, Cilena Johnson, 4 great-grandchildren: Aiden Turley, Kaleb Staples, Shylan Curtis, Seren Johnson, sisters: Diane and Nancy, brothers: Ivan David, and Ronald D., Uncle Pete Montaque, Aunt Ritta, nephews, Ronald Jr., Matthew, Randy, Jay Lee, nieces: Nancy, Beckey, Tina and Jamica.
Respecting Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
