Dorothy "Dottie" Barlow

Dorothy "Dottie" (Adams) Barlow, age 97, passed away on April 11, 2023, in Parrish, Florida.

Dottie was born on March 1, 1926, the daughter of George E. and Veleta B. (Narragon) Thornton.  She graduated from Crystal High School.  In 1949, she married Millard "Bob" Adams, and they enjoyed 40 years together until his passing.

Dottie worked at Bealls Department Store in Bradenton, Florida for 21 years.  She worked at Michigan National Bank for 12 years prior to moving to Florida.  She lived a long, happy, and healthy mobile life until she decided to go meet Jesus in Heaven.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband Millard "Bob" Adams, daughter Beverly Adams, son Rick L. Adams, her parents George Thornton and Veleta Hosford, and her sister Arlene Passmore.

She is survived by her son Mark (Nancy) Adams of Holland, Michigan, daughter Becky Adams, of Parrish, Florida, sister Lavone Lambert of Michigan, grandchildren Angie (Jon) Jernigan of Parrish, Florida, Heather (Tim) Davis of Springfield, Ohio, Tracee Jankoviak of Holland, Michigan, Dana (Greg) Myers of Caledonia, Michigan, great-grandchildren Wyatt Meyer, Bodie Jernigan, MacKenzie Myers, Connor Myers.
