Dorothy Ann Thompson

Dorothy Ann Thompson, age 95, of Caledonia, Michigan, passed away on March 27, 2022.  Dorothy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 11, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Szczepanski) Kasnia.

On January 24, 1950, Dorothy married Arlo B. Thompson, and they enjoyed 45 years together until his passing.

Dorothy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed golf, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her sister and best friend Bebe Venema.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Arlo, her son Edward Thompson, parents Joseph and Anna Kasnia, and siblings Joseph, Edward, Helen, Francis, Rosalie, Anna and Florence.

She is survived by her children Larry (Peggy) Thompson, Robert (Teri) Thompson, Suzanne (Ed) Thompson, grandchildren Robert (Jamie) Thompson, Matt (Amber)  Thompson, and Kathrine (Bret) (Thompson) Wiersma, and great-grandchildren Owen and Layla Wiersma.
