Douglas John Premoe, age 51 of Hastings, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Eaton Community Palliative Care.
Doug was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 8, 1964, the son of John Edmond and Marylou (Dudley) Premoe Jr. He graduated in 1983 from Eastern High School in Lansing. Doug worked for General Motors for 28 years, retiring in 2012. He served in the National Guard for six years. Doug married Martha Sue Keener on June 25, 2011. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and he also enjoyed scroll woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and MaryLou Premoe.
Doug is survived by his wife, Martha, five children, Courtney Premoe, Kayla Premoe, Amber Gierke, Tiffany (David) Castle, and Joshua Premoe, five grandchildren, brothers; Paul (Debbie) Premoe and Robert Routley, sister, Karen (Wes) Dow and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 South Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
