Edward James Czlonka

Edward James Czlonka, age 62, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on May 21, 2023.

Edward was born on June 5, 1960, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Edward F. and Dolores A. (Haan) Czlonka.  He was a 1977 graduate of Union High School.  Edward worked as a Boiler Engineer and Steam Maintenance, retiring in 2022.  Edward proudly served his country in the Navy in 1983 on the USS Kitty Hawk.

On December 29, 2014, Edward married Deborah (Mohr) Czlonka, and they enjoyed 8-1/2 years together.

Edward enjoyed hunting, rebuilding Harleys, camping, music, movies, and he had many dogs, leaving a very special one to both of us behind, 14-year-old Layla.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward Frank and Dolores Angeline (Haan) Czlonka.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Czlonka of Hastings, Michigan, step-daughter Chrystine of Davison, Michigan, step-son Dustine of Tennessee, and step-grandson Jaxon of Davison, Michigan.
