Faye Lynette Capers passed away on January 2, 2025, in Hastings, Michigan. She was born on August 5, 1955, in Fort Meade, Florida, the daughter of the late Martin and Annie C. Keller.
Faye was a graduate of Fort Meade Jr/Sr High School in Florida. Her heart found its match when she married Danny Capers on March 15, 1980, and they enjoyed 42 years together until Danny's passing in 2022.
Over the years, she built a diverse career, taking on roles as a cashier, factory worker, and gas station attendant.
Faye enjoyed gardening; and her dog, "Hunny," was a constant companion. Fishing with her grandchildren was among her favorite pastimes, creating memories that would be treasured for generations. Faye also shared a love for hunting with her husband Dan, and in her younger years, she enjoyed participating in horse shows.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Louie, Jimmy, and sister Frances, and daughter-in-law Erin Capers.
Faye was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Sara (Chad Coenen) Capers, and grandchildren Casey Coenen, Emma Coenen, Skyler Keller, and Allera (David Hause) Keller, along with great-grandchild Lylah Hause; her son James (Brandy) Capers, and grandchildren Zaida Smith, Kaylee Capers, Jessy, Josh, and Justice Deppe; and her daughter Deanna Keller; and granddaughter Danielle (Brad) Jones.
