Frank William Winans

Frank William Winans, age 73 of Hastings, passed away February 23, 2022, at his residence.

Frank was born in Hastings, Michigan on May 25, 1948, the son of Marshal Gibbs and Grace Irene Winans.   He attended Thornapple Kellogg High School in Middleville, Michigan, graduating in 1966.  Frank married Sharon Vickers on May 8, 1986.

Frank honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.  He worked for the Bradford White Company in Middleville , Michigan for 43 years, retiring in 2010.

Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and sports.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and MSU football fan.  He loved family get-togethers and enjoyed grilling and cooking on the open fire.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Marshal and Grace Winans, and wife Sharon Lou Winans.  He is survived by his son, Frank W. (Molly) Winans Jr., daughter, Kim (Wayne) Nicholson, step-children, Betty (Jim) Ainsworth, JoAnn (Mike) Snider, John (Pam) Kitchen, Mary Beth Kitchen, Teresa Kitchen, Lori Dussia, Chuck (Teri) Gray, Nicole (Paul) Cipcic, siblings: Donny (Meryl) Sears, Mickey Balant (Dawn), Larry (Gwen) Winans, Susie (Jim) Cooley, and Patricia (George) Cooley, many nieces, nephews and grandchildren, great grandchildren and his best friend Greg Eaton.

Funeral services for Frank will be scheduled at a later date.
