Gary Lee Howell

Gary Lee Howell, formerly of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2020, at the age of 65. Gary is survived by his wife, Amy; his former wife Brenda and their son Sean (Marina) Howell and his grandchild Sebi; his former wife, Jacque (Seagle), and their two children, Ian and Shane; and his step-daughters Elise and Riley Waugh. Gary grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, served in the military, and eventually settled in Michigan where he enjoyed working as a nurse anesthetist for Kalamazoo Anesthesiology Group for 23 years. He spent the last 15 years working at Pennock Hospital in Hastings, Michigan, with a team of people he respected, admired, and considered his friends. Spending time with his family was very important to him. He was especially proud of his three sons and grandson and loved them very much. He liked running, playing golf, traveling, and making friends wherever he went. A memorial service is being planned at a later date in Saugatuck, Michigan.
