Geoffrey Gale Ketchum

Geoffrey G. Ketchum, age 73 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on April 7, 2021.  Geoffrey was born on September 19, 1947, the son of G. Minor and Lucinda (Brinkworth) Ketchum.  He was a 1966 graduate of Hastings High School.  On March 20, 1967, Geoffrey married Cynthia S. Lewis, and they enjoyed 38 years together until her death in 2005.

Geoffrey was the owner and President of Ketchum Machine Company for many years, which he founded with his father.  He proudly served in Country as a reserve in the Coast Guard.  His hobbies included drag racing and tinkering with Buicks.  He started Finish Line Motorsports with his son-in-law Bobb to fund the racing habit.  In his younger years, he enjoyed boating.

Geoffrey was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia S. (Lewis) Ketchum and his parents G. Minor and Lucinda (Brinkworth) Ketchum.

He is survived by his daughter Amy (Robert) Makley; sons Trevor (Tina) Ketchum, Aaron Ketchum, grandchildren Anthony (Alexis) Makley, Kaitlyn Ketchum, Jarred Ketchum, Amanda (Joe) Ketchum, Natalie Ketchum, Nicole Ketchum, and 4 great-grandchildren.
