George Edward Curtis, age 63 of Baltimore Township passed away August 25, 2015.
George was born on November 9, 1951 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Morris and Anita (Brisbin) Curtis.
He attended Hastings schools and received his GED. George worked at many outdoor maintenance jobs and several lumber yards. He volunteered for the Salvation Army during the Christmas Holiday's.
George enjoyed doing crafts and working with and creating things with plastic canvas.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Anita Curtis.
He is survived by his son, Tim Lawrence, grandsons, Shaun and Austin Lawrence, his siblings; David Curtis, Mark Curtis, Gordy (Denise) Curtis, Morris Curtis, Pamela Juzix and Nancy (Derwin) Medeiros, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Brush Ridge Cemetery, 4975 Wilkins Rd., Hastings.
