Gerry Lee Allen

Gerry Lee Allen, age 77, of Freeport, Michigan passed away on October 19, 2019.  Gerry was born on January 17, 1942 in Middleville, Michigan, the son of Clinton and Rosie (Martz) Allen.

Gerry was a 1961 graduate of Freeport School.  On June 17, 1961, he married his wife of 58 years, Louella Rohrbacher.  Gerry worked for General Motors until his retirement on November 11, 1997.

Gerry enjoyed collecting cars, ice fishing, going up north, hunting with his grandson Ryan, and loved being with his grandchildren.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Rosie (Martz) Allen, and son Jonathon Allen.  He is survived by his wife Louella (Rohrbacher) Allen, his son Gerry Allen of Freeport, Michigan, daughter Debora (Gary) Hartman of Hastings, Michigan, son Randy Allen of Freeport, Michigan, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Larry Allen, Jim (Helen) Allen, and sisters Darleen (Phil) Honeysett and Donna (Gene) Lambert.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Freeport Community Center, 209 State Street, Freeport, MI 49325.  Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home, to leave an online condolence, visit www.girrbachfuneralhome.net .
