Hazel G. Blackburn, age 95 of Dowling, Michigan and formerly Louisa, Kentucky, passed away October 14, 2010 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings, Michigan.\r
She was born May 15, 1915 in Louisa, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Francis (Cox) Gibson. \r
Hazel married Edgel Blackburn in 1939. They were married for 50 years. Edgel passed away in 1989. Hazel was a member of the Pencostal Holiness Church in Weeksbury, Kentucky. \r
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Raymond Gibson and Billy Gibson, and sister, Sherley Preece.\r
Hazel is survived by her son, Bobby (Carole) Blackburn of Dowling, MI, brother, Claude Gibson of West Virginia, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. \r
