Homer Dean Harig

Homer Dean Harig, age 56, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on October 15, 2021.  Homer was born on January 29, 1965, the son of Ruby Ann (Hedges) Hause and step-father George Hause.

Homer attended Wayland High School.  He worked as a factory worker and was also a caregiver working in Adult Foster Care.

Homer loved to go camping, tubing and dancing with his friends.

Homer was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Harig and Larry Harig and his grandparents Otto and Ruby Hedges.

Homer is survived by his parents George and Ruby Hause, adopted daughter Selena Hudson, his grandchildren, Malik Miller, Trinity Miller, Isaiah Hudson, Chance Hudson, his sister Penny and Gordon Post of Dorr, his brother Darin and Kathy Merchant, his adopted sister Honey and Gary Stevens and family, his nieces Amy and Scott England, Mandy and Jason Post, Kayla Merchant, and Madison Merchant, his great-nephews Carson England and Bryson England, and several aunts and uncles.
