Irene Ellsworth

Irene Ellsworth , age 91 of Hastings, died Wednesday April 6, 2011 at the home of her granddaughter, Tracy Jo Scobey. She was born October 10, 1919 in Buno , Ohio, the daughter of Emery and Agnes Lewis. Irene was a Homemaker who enjoyed fishing, gardening , mushrooming and being in the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, and her son, Melvin Douglas Scobey November 30, 2010. Irene is survived by 2 sons, George Scobey of Grand Rapids, Rob Volkers of Comstock Park, a daughter Mary Lee Mozes of Washington State, brother Joe Lewis of Hastings, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday April 12, 2011 at 1:00pm at Coman Cemetery on Shaw Lake Rd. Yankee Springs Twp. Rev. Kenneth R. Vaught will officiate the service.
