Jacqueline Mary Adkins

The Lord called home our much beloved wife and mother, Jacqueline Adkins, age 79, of Hastings, MI on Saturday, April 17, 2010. She lost her struggle after a sudden illness. \r
Jacqueline (Jackie) was a kind and tender person to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Jackie and her husband Robert, where joyful and accomplished dancers. Jackie was a member of the Hastings Women's Club, the Hastings Women's Book Club and Library Movie Group. She also enjoyed water aerobics at the Pennock Fitness Center. \r
Jackie was born in Toledo, Ohio, September 1, 1930, the daughter of John and Victoria Ardrey. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1948. She married Robert R. Adkins on November 10, 1951. \r
Jackie is survived by her husband, Robert R., a son, Robert L.(Elaine) Adkins of Temperance, MI, daughters, Jeanne (Michael) Pollock of White House, OH, Susan (James) Murphy of Wyoming, MI, Tina (David) Heinrich of Zeeland, MI, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a brother, Jack (Joan) Ardrey of Alabama. \r
Memorial contributions may be made to St Rose Building on Faith Fund, Hastings, MI or St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Toledo,OH.\r
Visitation will be held Monday, April 19, 2010, from 6-8pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings, MI. A second visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the David R. Jasin Funeral Home in Toledo, OH. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10am at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Toledo, OH.\r
