Jeffrey Lynn Aston, 71, passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1953, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Richard and June (Roberts) Aston.
Jeff attended Bellevue High School. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Music was a major part of his life—he enjoyed playing drums in various bands and performing at local nightclubs in his younger years. He loved attending classic car shows and Civil War reenactments at Charlton Park. He also liked drawing, cheering on the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and watching Big Time Wrestling, and he was a member of Thornapple Valley Church. Jeff's favorite Bible verse is Psalms 24:1-2 "The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters."
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his sister Cathy Balch, and his nieces Megan Aston, Cory Aston, and Katie French.
Jeff is survived by his siblings Cindy (Stacey) Garrison of Nashville, MI; Steve (Sharl) Aston of Bellevue, MI; Cherie (Oscar) VanNeste of Charlotte, MI; and Pamela (Chris) French of Oahu, HI; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
