Jeffrey Paul Miller

Jeffrey Paul Miller, age 70, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on August 4, 2023.

Jeff was born on April 6, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Maynard G. and Mary Jean (Dryer) Miller.  He was a 1971 graduate of Charlotte High School.

On March 18, 1972, Jeff married Lucy Simmons, and they enjoyed 51 years together.  He worked for over 30 years as a welder at D & S Machine Repair, retiring June 1, 2015.

Jeff was an avid gun collector and 2A supporter.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  Jeff was a member of the Conservation Club in Hastings.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, and three daughters.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Miller, of Hastings, daughters Angie Miller of Hastings, Anna (Nick) Milligan, of Mulliken, son Dan Miller of Hastings, grandchildren Dylan (Sydney) Miller of Greenville, Mary (Russ) Billings of Hastings, Ally (Josh) Richardson of Sunfield, Quinn Miller of Hastings, Stephen (Miller) Bolthouse, Austin (Zayda) Milligan of Lansing, Jamie Metzger-Miller of Hastings, and Alayna Milligan of Mulliken, great-grandchildren Arielle and Ayla Miller, Danny Billings, and Jesse Richardson, siblings Eve Lumbert of Charlotte, John (Cheryl) Miller of Charlotte, Jean (Bill) Voigt of Hastings, in-laws Verna Brown of Hastings, Ron (Hazel) Simmons of Mulliken, Bill (Chris) Simmons of Saranac, Wayne Simmons of Saranac, Kenyen Simmons of Sunfield, Cheryl Stamm of Harrison, and several nieces and nephews, and can not forget about his beloved dog, Elliott.

Jeff was well loved and will be dearly missed by many! The memories we have will forever be cherished.
