Jeffrey "Papa" Lewis Tyrrell, passed away February 16, 2024, at the age of 58. Jeffrey was born January 21, 1966, in Plainwell, Michigan, the son of Ronald L. and Rae Ellen (Krause) Tyrrell.
Jeff attended Caledonia and Hastings Schools. He spent most of his career at Diamond Machinery, where he excelled as a Millwright Rigger until becoming disabled in 2012.
Jeff was often found in his garage, where he would spend hours tinkering with his tractors, golf cart, cars, and engaging in woodworking and metal fabrication. He especially loved old John Deere tractors and Model T cars. Jeff also had a profound love for cooking and baking, and fishing.
Summertime brought Jeff immense joy as he gathered with his family for camping trips. These outings were filled with laughter, good campfire stories, and playful rides on his golf cart. Above all, Jeff's heart was dedicated to his family, particularly his wife Marcia and his mother-in-law, Jo Ann. Both women held a special place in his heart, and he would do anything to bring them happiness.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Ronald, and brothers, Jody L. Tyrrell and Kenneth B. Dietz. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Marcia (Kidder) Tyrrell, mother, Rae Ellen Dietz, sister, Tammy L. (James) Gebben, and his adored children: Jason (Kim) Michael, Renee (Robert) Breese, Steven (Jessica) Tyrrell, Stacy Harper, Jordan Tyrrell, Jeffrey Tyrrell, Jr., and Meggen Tyrrell, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his "Special Dirl" Hailey, along with his dear friend, Billy Brook, and his sidekick aka "girlfriend" Little Miss Molly.
