John Pasquale Lafrate

John Pasquale LaFrate, Sr., age 73 of Hastings, passed away on April 28, 2020. John was born on October 26, 1946 in Eastpointe, Michigan, the son of Patrick J. and Catherine (DePedtro) LaFrate.

John attended East Detroit High School, graduating in 1965 and worked in manufacturing, retiring in 2010. On February 21, 1969, he married Pamela Noreen LaFrate.

John liked to play games on Facebook and loved to fish and do yardwork during the summer.

John is preceded in death by his wife Pamela, with whom he is now at peace. He is survived by his son John P. LaFrate, Jr. of Battle Creek, brother Patrick LaFrate of Clinton Township, and his niece Shelly VanDenBerg.
