Judith Alta Kidder

Judith Alta Kidder, age 78 of Hastings passed away December 26, 2018 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Judith was born in Delton, Michigan on july 14, 1940, the daughter of Orville and Irene (Shellenbarger) Babcock.  She was a graduate of Hastings High School.  Judith married Eugene Kidder on November 8, 1958.  She worked for Grand Rapids Public Schools.

Judith enjoyed her flower gardens,  she also enjoyed spinning wool, bobbin lacing, crocheting, knitting, and tatting.  She and Eugene enjoyed riding motorcycle and have ridden in 49 of the 50 states with the exception of Hawaii as well as several Providences in Canada.

Judith is survived by her husband, Eugene, brother, Bruce Babcock, several nieces and nephews and her dog Misty.

Respecting Judith's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
