June Arlene (Roberts) Aston

June Arlene (Roberts) Aston, age 80 of Hastings passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.
June was born on November 9, 1934 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Clarence and Arlene (Olds) Roberts. She attended Lakeview Schools in Battle Creek and later Bellevue Schools, attaining her GED. June married Richard Aston on September 11, 1950.
She worked at the Battle Creek Sanitarium. June received her Nursing Assistant degree in the late 60's. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Charlotte and Hastings. June enjoyed crafting, gardening, reading, and attending religious programs. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and her good friends at Mallard Pond.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Arlene Roberts, husband, Richard Aston, and brother, Jerry Roberts.
She is survived by her children: Cindy (Stacey) Garrison of Nashville, Jeff Aston of Nashville, Steve (Sharl) Aston of Bellevue, Cathy Balch of Hastings, Cherie (Oscar) VanNeste of Charlotte, Pamela (Chris) French of Hawaii, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Respecting June's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
