On Halloween of 1978 Justin David Crofoot entered this world by way of Elise L. Crofoot in the city of Lansing
,
Michigan. Both he and the world had no idea what they were in for. His life was the epitome of random thoughts and actions culminating in in the creation of a universe only he could ever really explain. On July 16, 2012 he left this world behind and began the next leg of his strange journey.
Often referred to as "Cro," Justin was fiercely loved by many. As the central persona in countless stories that usually began as, "Hey, did you hear what that guy did?"
,
he reveled in telling slightly varied versions of those stories to different people. It would be hard to know which versions of these stories were true, but to him, they all were. He was kind in a way few people can be, chaotic as anyone on earth, and lived in a way that set the bar on how to enjoy life.
Justin was a son, father, brother, friend, and occasional nemesis. He is survived by his mother, Elise L. Crofoot
;
daughter, Ava Solomon
;
half-brother, Hillel Casado
;
half-sister, Tair Casado
;
and his family of his own creation, that contains too many names to list.
There will be a celebration of his life at a later date, where all who loved him, and a few that watched him from afar can come together to laugh, cry, and remember. In the words of Cro, "Make this quick, I need to get back to my unicorn before the vortex closes."
